The explosive aerialist hailing from the talent-laden town of Tweed Heads, Australia enters the ASP Dream Tour realm acclaimed by many as one of the world's most progressive free-surfers. Kersey is back on tour in 2009 after taking a brief respite in 2008 and now he intends to utilize his free-surfing antics to turn heads in the competitive world. The talented athlete broke himself in as a rookie amongst the top 45 in 2007 and his jaw-dropping above the lip surfing will be that much more of a threat to his fellow competitors during his second year on the ASP Dream Tour.
Kerr's successful 2008 ASP WQS campaign seemed to come effortlessly to the young Australian, qualifying for this year's ASP Dream Tour by surfing in only a few select events. If Kerr can stay as cool on the ASP World Tour stage this year as he did on last year's 'QS, he'll definitely turn some heads by utilizing his full repertoire of innovative turns and progressive airs to oust some of the world's finest. |
