Greg Bird selected as Captain

Greg Bird has been selected as captain of the Catalan Dragons after only two games at the club. Last weekend Greg scored the winning try to take the Catalans to there first win of the season.

Kevin Walters Coach of the Dragons showed faith in Greg Bird by handing him the captaincy.

"It was a little bit [of a surprise]," the 25-year-old Bird said.

"It is a big honour but I've captained back home in the NRL and I welcome the extra responsibility.
