Ashley Harrison

One of the most experienced players in the NRL with 276 matches to his name since making his debut for the Brisbane Broncos during the club’s premiership year in 2000. Harrison has enjoyed successful stints at the Broncos, South Sydney – where he captained the club, Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast Titans in a distinguished career spanning more than a decade.

A former Australian Schoolboys representative, Harrison has become a mainstay of Queensland’s success at State of Origin level in recent times since returning to Queensland to play with the Titans in 2008. He has made 11 appearances for the Maroons and helped them extend their Origin dominance to six straight series victories. While the honour of representing Australia has so far eluded the 31-year-old, Harrison’s consistent performances for Queensland have left no doubts about his ability to match it with the best in the game.

On 27 June 2014, he confirmed his retirement earlier than he wanted to due to a neck injury.

Ashley is studying within the Financial services and developing business interests across different industries.  He is also showcasing his talent with Channel Nine appearing each week for the Nine news.

A keen surfer, Ashley enjoys the coast life style and works with many charities for community events.
